  • Where do you ship to?
    At the moment I only ship within the UK but hoping to expand to more countries at a later point.
  • When will my order arrive?
    If an item is showing as in stock then I will try to send out the same day if ordered before 2.30pm otherwise it will be sent the next working day.  Orders sent via 2nd class Royal Mail will usually take 2-3 days to arrive, order by courier will take 3-5 days. Items posted at peak time e.g. Christmas may take longer so please make sure you take this into account when ordering.

General Questions

  • How can I keep up to date with the latest offers?
    I will from time to time run special offers or promotions on the site. To ensure you don't miss out you can subscribe to the Funky Elephant newsletter. I'm not a big fan of spam so will not clutter your inbox with weekly messages. Newsletters will only be issued if a new promotion is about to start or as a monthly roundup of new or existing products. Offers will also be issued via the blog and social media either in conjunction with the site or as specific discounts for those followers.

  • Do you have a shop?
    Unfortunately no. Funky Elephant is a 100% online business. I am happy for customers to collect their order if they are local by prior arrangement.


  • I’ve seen something I like in the shop but would like an alternative fabric.
    No problem, I can order in your required fabric if required and make the item to order. Please email me to discuss further.
  • Do you offer bespoke items?
    I am more than happy to discuss any custom requirements you may have, even if the product is not listed on the website.  Please email me for more information.
  • Can items be personalised?
    For some items a personalisation option will be available however you are welcome to contact me if you would like to something personalised for an additonal cost. Please note that personalised items are exempt from refund under our returns policy unless faulty.
  • Do you have to have an account to order?
    No, you can buy from the site as a guest user. If you choose to register an account with Funky Elephant you will be able to create wishlists, retrieve order history, receive exclusive discounts etc. As I use PayPal as a payment method no financial information will be collected. Your personal details such as name, address and email are for communication purposes only and will not be passed on to any third parties.
  • What is the wishlist?
    If you are a registered user with Funky Elephant you are now able to create a wishlist. Just click on the star on the product pages to add to your list. You can also share your wishlist with family and friends when you log into your account.


  • Do I need a PayPal account?
    No, If you do not have a PayPal account you can still use them to process your payment with a credit or debit card.  You will not be required to set up a PayPal account unless you choose to do so.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    The site uses the PayPal secure checkout to process all payments.  Via PayPal you can pay with your PayPal account, credit or debit card. I am also happy to accept bank transfers, cheque or cash on collection.  Please contact me before purchase to arrange.


  • Can I return a stock item?
    Yes, if the item is unused and in a resaleable condition then please email me within 7 days of receipt at  Unwanted goods must be returned at your own expense within 7 days of authorisation.  For more information please see the full returns policy
  • Can I return a made to order or personalised item?
    Made to order or personalised items are the exception to our standard returns policy.  Unfortunately refunds cannot be given on unwanted goods.  If the item is faulty then please contact me via mail at with details of the fault and we can discuss further.
