Delivery and Returns

Delivery

Ready made items or instock items will usually be dispatched within 1-2 business days of payment.
Custom made items will take longer as I have to account for the time they will take to make as well as getting in relevant supplies if needed.  As a guide custom orders will have a turn around of 2-3 weeks unless I have contacted you otherwise.  If there are any possible delays you will be notified as soon as possible.

Delivery of bulky items will be made via courier which is usually 3-5 business days.  Smaller items may be sent via Royal Mail 2nd class service.  If you would like items sent via 1st class or recorded/special delivery I am happy to do so for an additional charge. Please contact me for details

Returns

I want you to be 100% happy with your purchase but understand that buying something online isn’t the same as buying at a physical shop.  You as a consumer are covered by the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR’s) which states a cooling off period of 14 days.  If you decide you no longer want your item you can return it for a full refund or exchange.  There are exceptions to this policy which are outlined below.

Please contact me via email within 14 working days of receipt at returns@funkyelephant.co.uk with your details, product details and brief description for reason of return.  Once authorised, goods must be returned at your expense in an resaleable condition and sent to the following address within 14 days.

I recommend using a recorded or tracked service to cover yourself as I cannot be held responsible if goods were to be misplaced in the post.

Products which have been made to measure or personalised are not eligible for refund or exchange unless faulty or not as described.  If your product is found to be faulty then please contact me via email funkyelephant.info@gmail.com so that I am able to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible.

Complaints

We will acknowledge any complaint within one working day and will seek to resolve it as soon as possible thereafter.
